Job Description:

*Cable Prep Assembler **Location: Anaheim, CA **1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM 2:00 PM**Pay: $19.00hr **Purpose of the Position:*Under general supervision, the Cable Preparation Assembler is responsible for building sensor cable assemblies using soldering, wire cutting, wire stripping equipment, and small hand tools. Ensures that parts and products are properly labeled, marked, or scanned. Performs related functions as needed.*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and prints.* Enter and update completed work orders in SAP.* Assure that materials are available for production use and moved to shipping areas at established times.* Cut and strip cables using both hand tools and cut and strip machines.* Prepare shrink tube labels with a heat shrink labeling machine and shrink onto cables.* Prepare cables for connection to sensors by tinning wires with a soldering iron.* Prepare cable ends with the installation of a BNC connector using the pneumatic crimp machine.* Install pin tips and various other connectors with the use of a hand crimper.* Inspect completed orders for adherence to quality standards.* Package and label products in preparation for shipping.* Assist with staging of products for shipping purposes.* Post completed operations in SAP Database.* Knowledge of safe production assembly practices.* Knowledge of soldering and wire preparation techniques.* Knowledge of SAP procedures for work orders.* Knowledge of basic staging and inspection procedures.* Knowledge of chemical and materials hazards, Safety Data Sheets, and proper handling and storage procedures.* Knowledge of troubleshooting procedures.* Set up and operate small wiring and cable processing machines.* Read and understand prints, schematics, manufacturing procedures, and instructions.* Complete daily work assignments within the agreed-upon timeframe.* Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* Morning shiftWork Location: In personby Jobble
