Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of tasks. Accounting Clerk is a full-time position that provides support to the accounting team, working closely with the Accounting Department and others to complete the necessary clerical work for accurate accounting practices.

Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable and Payable including vendor file maintenance
Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Organizing and delivering documents, filing reports, updating records and communicating with clients with a focus on financial duties
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Data entry into accounting system.
Verify receipts for credit card charges.
File and organize journal entries and general ledger reports.
Audit and review general ledger for discrepancies.
Clerical support for the accounting department (copying, printing, filing, labeling & boxing files, correspondence, etc.).
Ordering/Stocking office supplies
Assist accounting manager with special projects and other duties as required.

Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
1-2 years accounting experience.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Organized and detail oriented.
Must have Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel and Word skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping principles
