Job Description:

Reporting to the CFO, this critical role effectively establishes and maintains the company's General Ledger, overall accounting systems, policies and procedures.The Senior Staff accountant will:Assist the CFO to provide management with timely and accurate decision information.Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.Analyze accounts monthly.Compile internal financial statements monthly.Document accounting processes and internal controls.Provide the independent accountants support and documentation for the annual financial statement audit.Implement and improve accounting processes as they relate to internal control over financial reporting.Prepare tax filings: franchise, sales and property taxes.Comply with the organization's policies and procedures.Overseeing the payroll, payables and receivable function and processing as needed.Minimum of 4 years work experience.Possess a minimum of BA/BS Degree in AccountingCPA or working towards becoming a CPAFinancial statement audit experience preferredInternal audit or experience with process documentation and Key Controls.Strong analytic and problem-solving skillsAbility to exhibit poise, composure and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations.Navision 2009R2 or similar G/L systems.Ability to work independentlyHighly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines#INDHP
