Job Description:
The Company:EnergyAid, Inc. is taking advantage of a unique and
lucrative opportunity in the booming solar power service market by
providing repair and maintenance service to residential customers
of large solar installers and asset managers (the B2B segment) and
directly to homeowners that lack maintenance contracts with the
installer (the B2C segment). The solar business in California, and
other sunbelt states, continues to grow at a rapid pace,
outstripping the solar installer's ability to service their
installs, thus they contract out significant business.EnergyAid/s
management has extensive experience in all phases of the solar
industry and has leveraged existing relationships to quickly
establish itself as a leader in servicing solar installations.
Impressively, EnergyAid achieved profitability in its first year of
operations. The Company is now focused on building out and
institutionalizing its back office to keep up with its growth
trajectory. Hiring an experienced accountant or controller that
enjoys a fast-paced and collegial environment is the first step in
this process.The Role:EnergyAid is seeking an experienced
Accountant/Controller to formalize accounting processes, controls,
and procedures; create timely and accurate financial statements and
management reports; bill and collect payment from customers; pay
vendors; manage cash; reconcile bank accounts, factoring schedules
and credit lines; ensure compliance with all contracts; and input
weekly payroll and assist in some human resource tasks. One of the
first major tasks will be managing the selection process of a new
payroll and HR system.This is an opportunity for a self-motivated,
highly organized individual capable of working independently and
collaboratively to create an institutional accounting department.
This position will report to the CEO and requires excellent
communication skills with all levels of the organization, including
employees, management, investors, and board
members.Responsibilities:Ensure all transactions are recorded
accurately, timely, and completely, in accordance with GAAP and
using Quickbooks Online to timely prepare financial statements and
management reports.Establish processes and procedures to safeguard
the company's assets.Balance monthly bank and credit
accounts.Ensure Factoring Company is correctly billing and
remitting collections due the Company.Manage cash in anticipation
of future expenses, collections, etc.Invoice customers, manage A/R,
and pay bills.Create and manage asset and depreciation
schedule.Input weekly payroll (currently using ADP) and create
processes to improve employee reporting.Manage the search for new
payroll and HR provider.Maintain records for debt and financing
facilities.Ensure compliance with operating and loan
covenants.Coordinate with management in the preparation and
analysis of budgets and financial forecasts.Regularly present the
Company's financial position and budget variances to management and
advisors.Work with Company's CPA in preparing tax returns and other
regulatory documents.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor of Arts degree
in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, and at least
five (5) years of increasing responsibility in accounting.If no
degree, minimum of eight (8) years of Increasing responsibility in
accounting.Experience executing the tasks listed above.Previous
experience in public accounting is valued, but not required.Solid
working knowledge of GAAP accounting.Experience working with Quick
Books On-line.Ability to prioritize, organize, manage time, and
work independently to meet deadlines.Ability to focus on small
details and high-level strategic projects.Must be thorough,
thoughtful and able to perform well in a small, fast-growing

partners.Salary: $85,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.
