Job Description:

Senior Accountants are a dynamic group of individuals that are capable of multi-tasking while successfully maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction to both external and internal customers. Senior Accountants will perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to preparing journal entries and complex reconciliations for monthly general ledger close. Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements. Ensure that all deliverables comply with GAAP.At FBM we believe in doing business with integrity and being the Company of Choice for both our customers and our team.Essential Senior Accountant Functions/Qualifications/Education:Strong analytical and accounting skills.Some mentoring and review experience.Previous public accounting experience is a big plus.Participate in month-end close activities including the preparation and review of journalPrepare and review complex monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accountsReconcile general ledgers, post journal entries, and assist with the preparation of financial statementsAccruals, fixed-assets, revenue recognitionReconcile intercompany accounts and post eliminating journal entriesSubstantiate financial transactions by providing audit proof documents. Verify and analyze business records, transactions, and proceduresPrepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliation for assigned general ledger accounts and balance sheetsPrepare schedules for quarterly reviews and year-end audit for independent external auditors.
