We are currently hiring an Insurance Accounting Supervisor in the Hub Financial Center (HFC), the centralized accounting team for HUB International. The---Insurance Accounting Supervisor is a leader specialized in steering the success, growth, efficiency, and progress of their team within the HFC.
What you'll do

  Identify and focus on the improvement and implementation of key performance metrics that provide visibility on production to identify strengths and processing risks
  
  
• 
  Develop a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages team members at all levels to share ideas
  
  
• 
  Strong desire to support internal and external partners in providing solutions and enhancements
  
  
• 
  Creating and presenting individual performance assessments for direct reports
  
  
• 
  Collaboratory with supporting leads and analysts to invest, analyze and identify opportunities to provide training for all direct reports
  
  
• 
  Build and maintain positive working relationships with HFC leaders and regional partners
  
  
• 
  Reviews and analyzes the department workflows with the Manager, to develop more efficient procedures and utilization of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  
  
• 
  Fosters a collective team environment where cross functions are assumed as necessary to meet assigned deadlines and goals
  
  
• 
  Ensure escalations are resolved timely and accurately, creating awareness and accountability on the root cause to reduce future escalations
  
  
  What you bring to our team
  
  • 
    
  • 
    2+ years with a proven track record of supervising a successful team of at least 15 people
    
    
  • 
    BA/BS in Business, related experience may offset this requirement
    
    
  • 
    Ability to balance multiple priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
    
    
  • 
    Has a well-established understanding of accounting, financial concepts, and controls
    
    
  • 
    Possess superior verbal and written communication skills
    
    
  • 
    Have a solid interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills
    
    
  • 
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    
    
  • 
    Previous Insurance brokerage experience is an asset
    
    
  • 
    Proficient in Microsoft Office

      The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
