Job Description Job Overview Villa Ornamental Iron is a trusted structural steel & ornamental metals fabrication shop with experience in retail, multi-family, industrial, etc. We maintain a very friendly and playful work environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates. Responsibilities Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials. Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam for accurate estimating and documentation. Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication. Structural steel erection, columns, beams, moment frames, steel fencing, railings, ladders, canopies Qualifications 3 Years of Experience Required Spanish speaking a plus but not required Strong understanding of construction project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment. Excellent negotiation skills for working with contractors and suppliers. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols. Proficient in using estimating software such as Bluebeam. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday - Friday Work Location: In person
