Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This full-time, onsite contract position is for a
specialized educator working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
in a K12 educational setting in Anaheim, CA. The role spans from
ASAP through June 5, 2026, supporting a caseload of 35 students
ranging in age from infants to 22 years old. The position requires
providing early intervention services, consultation, and
participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings,
with support available within the program. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of
Hearing students, ages infant through 22 Manage a caseload of
approximately 35 students Provide early intervention services for
infants and collaborate closely on IFSPs (Individualized Family
Service Plans) Conduct consultations with educators, families, and
related professionals Participate actively in IEP development and
implementation Support the overall goals of the program while
working itinerantly across sites as needed Qualifications and
Experience: Valid California Teaching Credential: Education
Specialist Instruction with Deaf and Hard of Hearing authorization
Proven experience working with infants and familiarity with IFSP
procedures Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads effectively in
a school environment Knowledge of best practices in Deaf and Hard
of Hearing education and early intervention Strong communication
and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
Location and Work Schedule: Position is onsite in Anaheim, CA with
itinerant responsibilities Full-time schedule, approximately 37.5
hours per week This opportunity is ideal for educators dedicated to
supporting the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community through early
intervention and specialized instruction in a supportive school
