We currently have 56 facilities, of which 37 are manufacturing facilities in ten countries and our market capitalization is approximately $6.2 billion.JOB DESCRIPTION:We are looking for an Automation Engineer to design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs. This position is part of the Robotics & Automation Engineering team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs.
• Develop and maintain SCADA automation, data logging, and analytics.
• Write Python scripts for SCADA automation, data logging, and analytics.
• Integrate PLCs with SCADA via OPC UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize industrial automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot communication issues between PLCs, SCADA, and external databases.
• Ensure system security, backups, and proper documentation of automation processes.
• Maintain network documentation, including IP addressing and communication mappings.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical automated/robotic equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of databases such as SQL.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in industrial environments.
  • Programming in Python.
  • Experience with network communication.This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders], or have refugee or asylee status.Salary Range: $72,000 - $80,000Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting.
