Job Description:
A company is looking for a Failure Analysis, Mechanical
Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct joint laboratory examinations with outside parties and
participate in technical assessments
Analyze scientific literature and technical reports related to
materials and mechanical engineering
Perform hands-on laboratory work, including operating and
maintaining laboratory equipment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of five years' experience in failure analysis and root
cause determination
BSc and MS in materials science, metallurgical engineering, polymer
science, mechanical engineering, or related fields
Experience in testifying is desirable
Ability to travel on short notice for site inspections and sample
collection
Flexible work schedule to accommodate occasional weekend and
evening hours
