Allied Universal is looking to hire a VP of Sales Enablement to lead the Sales Enablement Team and will work closely with sales leadership, marketing and corporate functions across all of Allied Universal's business lines and geographical markets to achieve sales growth targets. The successful candidate will be a highly effective project manager and collaborative change leader who has experience defining and running sales enablement programs. The leader needs to be passionate about sales enablement trends and activities (sales methodology, sales content and delivery tools, lead generation, proposal generation, CRM, KPI's, reward programs), supporting Allied Universal's mission to have the highest-performing sales force in the industry.-- This position reports to the EVP, Sales and Marketing and the location is open based on talent. Ideal location is Corporate West or East but not required. -- -- ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-- Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned: Partner with sales management to identify sales knowledge and skills gaps across the company, conduct regular needs assessments, and roll-out appropriate targeted programs. Gather feedback from sales team on a regular basis to constantly improve support programs (sales training, sales content delivery, rewards). Observe actual sale process prospect and existing customer interactions to identify knowledge and content gaps required for strategic advancement. Build and manage a sales enablement content repository and delivery program and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need. Determine content adoption metrics, KPIs, reporting needs and requirements and define sales enablement best practices. Excite, influence and educate our sales leaders on key processes programs & initiatives. Evangelize and measure effectiveness of a proven sales methodology such as Richardson, Sandler, Value Selling--- Lead in-person, virtual and on-demand training sessions on various sales training topics to different sales teams and sales leaders. Partner with leadership (all levels) to: align on key goals and objectives; drive consistency and accuracy in the sales planning , forecasting and reporting process. Partner with Marketing and Vertical Market leaders to develop and execute 'qualified' lead programs Ensure the management of sales enablement platforms is efficient and productive (CRM, Content Management, Proposal Generation, Learning Management) Design metrics to ensure all sales enablement activities are measurable and easily analyzed for improvements. Lead, train and mentor direct reports QUALIFICATIONS:-- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or experience required. Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred with a minimum 5-7+ years of experience successfully creating and delivering sales programs with measurable results in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales culture. Experience in a B2B commissioned sales role and/or sales management is highly preferred but not required. Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as active listening skills with a sense of how sales professionals think, operate, and learn are required. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required. Collaborative: adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration. Strategic thinker and tactical go-getter who develops strategies and rolls up his/her sleeves and implements. Strong knowledge of sales enablement tools is required (CRM, Learning Management Systems, Content Management Systems specifically Marketo, Seismic and Salesforce) Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology. Professional, articulate and able to use good judgement and discretion. Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials in strictest confidence. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Current state driver's license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle required. Ability to travel domestically 25% of time. Some international travel will be required.
