As the company grows rapidly, we are seeking an individual to drive KPIs in Quality. The Black Belt can lead multiple monthly Kaizen and/or various problem-solving sessions to assist owners of either CAPA or high-impact NCR to reduce COPQ. This person will drive targeted, balanced improvement KPIs consisting of Safety, Delivery, Inventory, & Productivity (+QDIP) that are tied to Fujifilm Irvine Scientific corporate objectives using Lean tools, consulting skills, and the change management process. The Program Manager will drive site / company Leadership in the development of a +QDIP to drive production flow and to reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ). This person will also directly provide formal and informal Lean Six Sigma training and coaching, and be an active Leader in corporate objectives and monthly metric reviews (as appropriate).** External US Responsibilities:

  • Manage the KPIs for Quality
  • Lead/facilitate root cause analysis in problem solving using DMAIC process to assist vital Nonconformance Report (NCR) or CAPA through process to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
  • Manage Kaizen funnel process tied to corporate objectives (e.g. 95% OTD as published by OPEX group)
  • Run multiple monthly Kaizen with 90-tracking for sustainability
  • Execute annual Value Stream Mapping (VSM) with A3 Management
  • Lead diagnosis of work flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business and provide experienced counsel on appropriate Lean Six Sigma tools to eliminate them
  • Improve training, problem solving, and facilitation skills by pursuing in Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Lead associate development in various Lean Six Sigma tools and Kaizen leadership
  • Manage strategic projects from conception through sustainment, facilitate execution of action plans
  • Execute annual VSM A3 followed by new KPIs for +QDIP to drive efficiency and to reduce mudaExperience/ Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering required; Master's Degree preferred
    • ASQ Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
    • 5-7 years of experience as practitioner of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
    • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a "general manager's" point of view
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills to present weekly and monthly updates
    • Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization from Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders to project managers and practitioners in all functional areas
    • Ability to solve problems in a variety of situations including statistical analysis at 95% confidence level
