Senior Director of Program Innovations Founded in 1997, Think

within our home office providing support! GENERAL PURPOSE:The
Senior Director of Program Innovations leads the program
development team and all aspects of program design at Think
Together. S/he ensures innovative, high-quality programs that are
researched-based and standards aligned to meet the needs of our
partners in supporting expanded learning that helps students
succeed toward college & career readiness. In addition, this
position provides leadership and guidance for organization-wide
data management & program evaluations. Dedicated to the mission of
Think Together, the Senior Director is a confident and competent
leader who is skilled at representing the organization in
establishing strategic programmatic partnerships. S/he has
extensive background in K-12 education and student engagement in
expanded learning programs. Moreover, this leaders excels at
engaging in effective collaboration within teams to support a
culture of operational excellence. Above all, the Senior Director
is responsible to ensure that Think Together remains at the cutting
edge of non-profit with best in class education programs in the
State of California. The position oversees the comprehensive work
of the Program Development Team, providing direct supervision for
the Director of STEM Innovation Programs and the Director of Older
Youth Programs and works cohesively with the entire Program &
Operations team to achieve program goals and outcomes. This
position reports to the Deputy Chief of Innovations &
Partnerships.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Maintains
knowledge and awareness of state standards, pedagogy, and
innovations in student learning/development in expanded learning
and K-12 education to support curriculum and program development.+
Ensures high-quality, cutting edge program design, curriculum
integration & implementation supports that aligns with known best
practices for engaging students in expanded learning activities.+
Ensures program alignment with adopted California educational
standards, the Quality Standards for Expand Learning in California;
and compliance with all state & federal grant funding
requirements.+ Studies and analyzes trends in student progress &
performance data for district partners across the State, and makes
recommendations for strategic programmatic solutions to support
cohesive alignment toward student achievement.+ Researches, vets,
recommends & manages programmatic partnerships with mission-aligned
organizations that demonstrate expertise in specific program
components.+ Collaborates strategically with the fund development
team, and the grant writing process to ensure adequate partnerships
& philanthropic resources to successfully implement program
innovations.+ Collaborates effectively with the entire Program &
Operations Team (e.g., Program Development, Organizational
Development, Data & Evaluations, Early Learning, Student Support
Services/Expansion, Strategic Projects, Families & Community
Engagement and Human Capital), as well as regional leadership teams
to ensure quality implementation and fidelity to program design.+
Provides strategic leadership & collaborative support for data &
evaluation projects that critically examine program effectiveness
and student impacts/outcomes.+ Maintains an informed pulse on
program implementation/effectiveness through regular field
engagement, site visits, program observations, assessments, and
analysis of program data & evaluations.+ Maintains a multi-year
program innovations, providing leadership and oversight for all
organization-wide program development projects working
collaboratively with Data & Evaluations and other teams critical to
the success implementation and impact tracking.+ Provides periodic
reports/presentations on program design and impact.+ Provides
effective and efficient leadership for the Program Development and
Data & Evaluations Teams by training & developing team members,
managing department budgets, and adhering to all organizational
policies & procedures.+ Represents Think Together in strategic
local, state-wide and national program conversations as
assigned.Other Requirements:+ Collaborate strategically across all
departments to ensure organizational cohesion toward the
achievement of goals.+ Remain current on educational developments,
published research, professional thinking and relevant trends,
practicing passionate curiosity for Think Togethers work.+ Execute
supervisory responsibilities with integrity and in a thorough &
timely manner.+ Confidently represent Think Together with a clear
understanding of the urgency of our mission, the importance of our
work, and the effectiveness of our programs.EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE:+ Bachelors degree (BA) in education or related field
from four-year college or university; additional course work or
Masters degree is preferred.+ California issued multi- or
single-subject teaching credential highly preferred+ A minimum of
10 years experience in education/expanded learning.+ At least 5
years in a supervisory or leadership position preferred.+ Fluency
in a second language (Spanish) is desirable.Think Together is an
