What We're Looking For
Join our growing West Division Marketing team! You will be responsible for leading the marketing effort of the Division's most complex and strategic pursuits. You'll collaborate closely with pursuit teams, local and national leadership in developing win strategies on the biggest and most exciting transportation projects throughout California and Nevada.

This role will be based in one of our California offices including Santa Ana, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Oakland.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Leads and assist with oversight of proposal activities, including leading proposal support staff teams. Manages proposal schedules and deadlines, develops proposal outline, and partners with the pursuit champion to monitor the progress of proposals.
• Leads and writes qualification packages, proposals and leave behind material for pursuits.
• Collaborates with technical staff and writes/reviews/edits original content for clarity, compliance and key messages.
• Works with pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including partnering with national resources to drive HNTB's sales approach, providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and HNTB.
• Organizes and may facilitate pursuit strategy meetings.
• Leads the pursuit team on presentation phase, including presentation coaching.
• Organizes and coaches technical staff in presentation phase.
• May lead strategic initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  Minimum Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 8 years relevant experience
  • In lieu of degree, 12 years of relevant experience
    
    Primary Focus Will Include:
    
    • Working collaboratively to manage capture, proposal, and interview activities for complex mega pursuits
    • Support West Division Marketing Teams in winning new work
      Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
      
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Possesses a strategic mindset and sound judgment.
      • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
      • Ability to build trust and influence others.
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.
      • Minimum of 5 years managing complex A/E/C proposals

        The approximate pay range for California is $112,206.31 - $199,434.29. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
