Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Review Clinician -
Retrospective.
Key Responsibilities
Perform post-service retrospective reviews of member medical
records related to behavioral health
Review medical records for coding accuracy and medical necessity of
services
Consult with senior management and healthcare providers on quality
of care issues and provide education on the review process
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's
degree
2 - 4 years of related experience in behavioral health
Clinical knowledge for analyzing medical records related to
behavioral health care services
Licensure as LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN required
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and behavioral health regulations
preferred
