Diversify Bx we believe that the role of a Behavior Interventionist
is essential in the implementation of a clients treatment plan. As
a Behavior Interventionist, you will be responsible for complying
with those duties and responsibilities of the position, as well as
those which may be assigned to you by Diversify Bx. The Behavior
Interventionist will deliver clinical behavior reduction programs
and clinical instruction based on the principals of Applied
Behavior Analysis to clients of Diversity Bx, LLC in the home,
community, center, and school settings. The Behavior
Interventionist will collect data on skill acquisition programs and
behaviors throughout each session. The Behavior Interventionist
will be responsible for reporting to the clinical supervision team
with any programing concerns, new behaviors, or parent concerns
within 24 hours. The Behavior Interventionist will be responsible
for the following duties: administration duties, case management,
clinical duties, and internal communication. The components of this

duties that may be assigned. Responsibilities and Duties: Under the
supervision of the clinical supervisor and/or program supervisor,
provide direct ABA services in a 1:1 and group settings utilizing
the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis. Implement the skill
acquisition and behavior reduction goals that have been prescribed
by the overseeing clinical supervisor. Collect data on skill
acquisition and behavior reduction goals every session. Maintain
client data in the home by updating program data sheets within the
required timeframe on our online data collection platform.
Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding
client progress as instructed by the overseeing clinical
supervisor. Utilize safe and appropriate behavior modification
strategies when working with clients. Maintain client
confidentiality based on HIPAA guidelines. Maintain a clean, safe,
and organized work and therapy environment. Maintain and acquire
ABA knowledge and skills by attending assigned staff trainings or
meetings. Attaining and achieving position competencies in relation
to role responsibilities. Reporting Relationship: The Behavior
Interventionist reports directly to Clinical Supervision Team.
Education and Professional Certifications: High School Diploma
Required Bachelors Degree Preferred CPR or BLS Certification
Preferred Registered Behavior Technician Credential Preferred NPI
Number Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to accept
constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets
accordingly. Effective time management skills and ability to
multi-task. Must maintain a professional appearance based on
Diversify Bxs dress code policy. Proficient in the use of
technology (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet) Ability to
implement clinical protocols. Must adhere to organizational
policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as
indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to ongoing
training and development in Applied Behavior Analysis to support
job competency. Basic and Physical Requirements: Must be able to
lift a max of 50 pounds. Must be able to assume and maintain a
variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sittings,
standing) for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit on the
floor or stand for extended periods of time. Must be willing and
able to hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as
indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan. Must be physically
present at the assigned job location. Must have reliable phone
access with internet capability. Must have reliable transportation
and be willing and able to travel between different job sites
within 25 miles of your home address. California Drivers License is
preferred, if you do not possess a valid DL you will need to be
able to guarantee commute to clients locations using a HIPAA
approved method of transportation. Insurance in good standing, with
employee listed as a covered driver.
