Job Description Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and
Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the
greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the
region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty
programs. Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic
Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical
services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery and organ
transplantation. New Hire Incentive available up to $8,000 for
those who qualify. This is a benefited, full-time position (80
hours per pay period) with 8-hour day shifts, Monday through
Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This Lead IR Tech role requires a
rotation of after-hours call coverage, flexibility throughout the
week (including weekends and holiday call). The position is located
at Scripps Green Hospital. Scripps Green Hospital has served the

at least 1 year of experience) In order to remain eligible for your
retention incentive the following criteria must be met: • Must
remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in
offer letter) • Must remain in original department/specialty • Must
remain in original Job Title • Transfers to other locations will be
reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting
remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer
letter. Main responsibilities include: - Responsible for providing
age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction
with other members of the defined health care team. - Monitor that
appropriate equipment is available for procedures - Train staff and
maintain competency level of 2-3 techs - Adheres to safety
standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and Pl
activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory
requirements. - Functions as liaison between state and federal
agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the
entire Interventional Radiology department. - Maintains all records
as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all
times. - Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for
procedures performed in IR department LI-JS1 Required
Qualifications: - CRT - Fluoro - BLS from the American Heart
Association - Completion of a formal training/educational program
in an approved school of Radiology - Imaging experience in a
hospital or clinic setting - Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications: - ARRT (VI) Vascular Interventional
Radiography - 1-2 years of experience is strongly preferred. -

Position Pay Range: $62.80-$91.07/hour
