Job Description:

Talkiatry is seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team of mental health professionals in enhancing the delivery of patient-centered care in psychiatry. As part of our team, your mission is to provide comprehensive psychiatric services and collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes possible. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and helping prevent disorders of the mind within our innovative, insurance-based care framework aimed at setting new standards in the mental health field. Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including interviews and physical exams, to diagnose mental health conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medication and psychotherapy. Monitor and continuously assess patient progress adjusting treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment. Provide emergency psychiatric services as needed. Maintain confidentiality and records of patient care according to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and wellness plans. Strong clinical skills in psychiatry and knowledge of the latest treatments. Ability to engage effectively with patients with diverse backgrounds. Strong communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams. Expertise in crisis intervention techniques. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Board Certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Valid and active medical license.
