Jamacha Pet Vets Associate Veterinarian - Jamacha Pet Vets, Santee, CA Small Animal GP Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-5:30 pm Jamacha Pet Vets is a thriving small animal hospital in Santee, serving a loyal client base with a busy caseload. We practice high-quality, team-oriented medicine with supportive leadership committed to growth. We're looking for a kind, collaborative veterinarian who is equally motivated to serve our pet community. About Us We bring a kind, positive, "let's get it done" attitude to GP and urgent care work. - 4 DVMs (growing to 6-7) - 4 RVTs with additional technicians and assistants being added - AI scribe for notes - Boarded internist, boarded cardiologist and traveling surgeon regularly scheduled in-house - Great relationships with local specialists and emergency hospitals - Fear-Free principles adopted - Supportive Hospital Manager with RVT and ER background, highly engaged on the floor - Collaborative culture where doctors regularly discuss cases and share ideas Day in the Life Example of a 3-Doctor day snapshot: - Appointments from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm - 15 support staff in the treatment area with 4 in the front - Highly utilized support staff: Our RVTs and assistants practice at the top of their licenses-supporting appointments, treatments, surgery, dentals, and estimates-so doctors can focus on medicine in an efficient, well-run workflow. - AI scribe - Mix of wellness, procedures, dentistry, surgery, urgent care - Procedures including spays/neuters, mass removals, exploratories, pyometra surgeries, enucleations, cherry eye and entropion repairs, splenectomies, cystotomies, and laceration repairs to name a few. Facility Beautiful, clean, well-organized hospital layout - Free standing building with dedicated parking - 8 exam rooms (dedicated comfort room) - Spacious treatment area with 6 wet tables - dedicated workstations for doctors and technicians with large windows overlooking the treatment area - Dental suite with 2 dental tables - Therapeutic laser - Dedicated heated post op recovery suite - Well-equipped surgical suite - New ultrasound room - Spacious break room with a large family-style table - Full in-house IDEXX labs and diagnostics with send-out capabilities - In-house pharmacy plus online pharmacy What We're Looking For We're seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) with a California license (or eligibility) who is a positive team player, committed to client education and high-quality medicine, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
