Occupational Therapist Location: Oxnard, CA Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,195 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position ID: 76684558 Shift: 8H Days 8:30a-5p Tues-Sat Description: Unit Notes:- Unit: PT, OT, Speech- Certs: BLS. Speech Therapist required to have CCC-SLP- EMR: Cerner - Rehab Aides/OTA/PTA: No - Weekend Requirement: yes - they will have to work either every Saturday or every Sunday - Holidays: yes, they will work them in with perm staff rotation, one major and one minor typically - Scrub Color/Uniform : Polo- provided and then khakis or black pants - Outpatient and Inpatient: Both - however they will hire specific to what is needed - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Shifts: 8 hr shifts 8am-4:30pm- What areas are they required to cover: They will hire according to inpatient or outpatient. If inpatient they will work general inpatient, rehab, OR sub-acute. If outpatient they will work in Hueme which is 20 min from SJRMC at a free standing outpatient cllnic (ortho, sports medicine) they only have PT and OT there. The other outpatient clinic is the one at Oxnard which is right down the street from SJRMC. The patient populatioon here is all types including ortho, neuro, peds, they also have a lymphedema program. - Floor specific orientation: 3 shifts - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Rehab - spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, a few ortho, no vents General inpatient - ortho, general medical, surgical, bariatrics, ICU, and cardiac Sub-acute - vented patients, long term patients - Additional Notes: Candidates must have 2 years experience at least. Speech must have experience with swallow studies and it would be nice if OT has swallow experience (preferred - this is a rare specialty cert for OT) Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 Charting BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Shift Tues-Sat Required Certification Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Weeks:91 Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Core Exam - Allied/Non-Nursing Ishihara Colorvision Screening MLH Occupational Therapist Job Description Occupational Therapist Skills Checklist Occupational Therapy Exam
