Job DescriptionThe HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the alignment of business and department objectives with team members and management. This position partners across the various HR functions to deliver value-added services, which may include initiatives in wellness, engagement, training and rewards, benefits, ER, and recruitment. The HRBP will maintain an effective level of regulatory compliance knowledge and champion Brasstech's ethical and behavior-based culture.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIESConsult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase safety, productivity, and retention.Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirement related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Direct and administer the successful completion of department programs, processes, and/or projects. Support the coordination of internal/external training, educational, and engagement activities.Performs other duties as required.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducations and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree or combination related work experience and higher education required5-6 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issuesWorking knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including safety, employee relations, diversity, performance management, recruitment, and federal and state employment lawsCertificates, License, Registrations or Professional DesignationsPHR or SHRM-CP preferredSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIESKnowledge of principles and best practices of human resource managementAbility to coach and mentor team members and supervisory teamAbility to collaborate with cross functional and departmental teamsAbility to develop working relationships with internal and external customersComfortable with presentation and public speaking skillsOrganization, time management and customer service skillsStrong work ethic and be a self-starterComputer SkillsMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Intermediate MS Excel (VLOOKUP function, sorting and filtering data)Language SkillsBilingual (English and Spanish) or (English and Vietnamese) (reading, writing, verbal) requiredMathematical SkillsProficiency with mathematical equationsOther SkillsTravel is required between business facilitiesAbility to work a flexible schedule if neededAbility to legally work without sponsorship for employment visa statusCompanyBrasstech, Inc.Full timeMasco Corporation (the "Company") is an equal opportunity employer and we want to have the best available persons in every job.
