Job Description:

A recognized specialized services company in California is looking to add a new -Payroll Analyst -to their growing team in Orange County.

Responsibilities:

The -Payroll Analyst -will be responsible for:

• 
  
• Calculating, analyzing and verifying -payroll data, including gross pay, retirement, hours & leave time, etc.
  
• Writing formulas for projects, coefficient and year end true ups, comparisons and pivot tables for data cleansing
  
• Managing thousands of lines of data through multiple sources that are audited on a weekly basis
  
• Performing other duties, as needed
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 4+ years of experience in a large company, multi-state Payroll environment
    
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
    
  • Experience with & knowledge of CA Labor Law
    
  • Solid understanding of Union & prevailing wages
    
  • Strong reporting skills & -analytical -skills
    
  • Microsoft Excel expertise (v-lookups, Pivot Tables, etc. )
    
  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
    
  • Great interpersonal skills
    
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    
  • Strong attention to detail
    
  • Highly organized
