Job Description Seeking a Business Analyst for the following
role - Duties Working with business departments, track and monitor
remediation efforts for key business applications throughout the
enterprise. Prepare and update Excel and PowerPoint presentation
information that drive key executive and business meetings around
remediation efforts and other key processes accurately and timely.
Drive process improvement(s) through seeking out and identifying
opportunities and business process definition by defining and
documenting processes and procedures. Assess and document training
needs, communicate existence of new process. Document business
processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures,
project status, etc. Oversees projects for business departments
andor acts as a liaisonstrategic partner between the org and
government entities, vendors, corporations and other divisions to
define business processes andor generate, update and create various
products and services. When new processes are identified, may hand
off to Project Management Team for implementation. Participates in
identifying business process requirements and related
businessapplication solutions for a specific business need. Gathers
customer requirements for customized solutions and provides
alternative solutions. May provides training and support directly
to customers. Identifiesreceives problem, researches alternatives,
prepares presentations, drives solutions, tests to confirm, gains
consensus, and implements solutions for defined business processes.
Creates documentation of business processes, training procedures,
and standard operating procedures. Generate and create reports
research and analyze data and report trends to managementbusiness
partner. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of
situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to
determine appropriate action. Follows department processes and
procedures and may make recommendations to these processes.
Achieves set objectives. Negotiates, persuades, and gains consensus
from implementation team on assigned objective. Errors may cause
delay of process development or problem resolution. Skills
Analytical skills - Ability to interview, formulate questions
detail oriented Data management skills - Ability to track and
monitor multiple records of sources. Has basic knowledge of general
business environmentoperation and has general cost benefit
awareness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in
order to define parameters to meet business requirements.
Experienced MS skill set preferred (specifically in Excel,
PowerPoint and Access) 2-5 years of directly related experience.
Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education
