The virtual marketplace (aka "Goldin") is a hyper-growth start-up within Collectors; a luxury digital marketplace supporting hundreds of millions of dollars of transactions a year. Goldin set new milestones within a couple of months of the release of its brand new platform- a record number of bids & unique bidders, broke over 100 individual records for highest item prices ever like the $1.5 Million dollar sale of a 2003 Lebron James rookie card. Goldin Auctions is part of the privately held Collectors Holdings group which also includes the PSA, PCGS, and WATA under the Collectors umbrella; leading in the grading and authentication of sports cards/memorabilia, coins and video games. About the role: We are looking for front-end, full-stack and back-end engineers to join our founding engineering team, and work on special projects focused on increasing the sales and revenue of the marketplace. This position is remote friendly! What you'll do:

• Contribute to the design and development of web and mobile applications.
• Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability and deployment
• Provide feedback pertaining to technical designs, proposals and code
• Analyze existing applications / databases and identify areas for improvement
• Design and contribute to APIs that can support user experiences on web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with and mentor engineers while also conducting code reviews to ensure consistent design patterns are being applied Who you are:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience building web and/or mobile applications
  • Must have strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Familiar with testing frameworks, such as Jest, Selenium
  • Proficient at using appropriate security, testing, documentation, and/or monitoring best practices
