• 1 Floating Holiday a yearJob DetailsThe assigned responsibilities are to include designing and developing software using design control processes and procedures in accordance with the FDA software design control guidelines established for type 2 and type 3 medical devices. This software design position is directly responsible for the software design and development for use in critical care medical device products.Education and Experience
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering design and development experience.Required Skills
    • Solid C++ and object-oriented design skills.
    • Experience developing multi-threaded software on real-time embedded devices running an RTOS.
    • Experience developing applications on Windows development environment.
    • Experience using unit test frameworks such as CPP Test, Google Test, or similar frameworks.
    • Experience with Qt and QML.
    • Experience with source control tools such as Git and Perforce.
    • Good communication skills.Desirable Skills
      • Windows Embedded Compact and Windows IoT experience.
      • Knowledge of FDA software documentation and test requirements for 510K submissions.
