Who we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who’s fired up by our mission and ready to build. You’ll thrive here if you adapt quickly, take ownership, and care about the details. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters. You’ll report to the Director, Software Engineering and work closely with a lean, high-trust team where everyone’s work matters. Core responsibilities Building a high-functioning team in line with Arc's values Providing growth opportunities and feedback to team members Forming technically-informed strategies to maximize impact Communicating with adjacent teams to improve efficiency Basic qualifications 6 years of industry experience 2 years of management experience Strong grasp of the fundamentals of software engineering Excellent interpersonal skills in both written and verbal media Bonus qualifications Prior experience with Typescript and/or Python Prior experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform Prior experience with software in a hardware domain, such as embedded devices, mobile apps, IoT, and/or infotainment systems Comfortable pushing an fast but sustainable pace Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy At Arc, we encourage diversity and consider all qualified applicants equally for employment, regardless of background, identity, or status.
