Job Summary :

Highly successful elder abuse firm has immediate opening for an experienced Law & Motion Attorney to join our team. Position can be full-time or part-time. Motion writing will include but not limited to:

Drafting Complaints
Opposing Demurrers and Motions to Strike
Opposing Petitions to Compel Arbitration
Opposing Motions for Summary Judgment/Adjudication
Drafting Motions and Oppositions to Compel Further Responses to Discovery
Drafting Motions and Oppositions to Motions for Protective Orders and Motions to Quash

Propounding and Responding to Discovery
Drafting Meet and Confer Letters on Discovery Disputes

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years strong litigation experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, or elder abuse
Strong experience with motion practice, discovery dispute, meet and confer letters
Proven track record of successfully supporting and opposing dispositive motions, including Demurrers and Motions for Summary Judgments
Superior analytical and legal research skills

Working knowledge and experience with California civil law & procedure
Ability to think creatively and strategically
Exceptional organizational skills
Exceptional time management skills
