COVID-19 Hiring Update: 03.16.2020 Rev: 05.08.2020 ABOUT THIS POSITION: This position is for a part-time Front of House (guest facing) team member at Chick-fil-A Harbor Blvd at the Costa Mesa, CA location. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Each Chick-fil-A Franchise is individually owned and operated. This location is also hiring part-time team members in Back of House (kitchen facing). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Part-time team member positions will be expected to regularly work four hour, six hour, or eight hour shifts, at various times within the various day parts of morning (5:30am-2pm), afternoon (11am-7:30pm), or evening (3:30pm-12am), depending on the needs of the business and store performance goals. A prime candidate will have availability during two or three of these day part times on a regular daily basis. Availability can alternate throughout the week. Additionally, part-time team members are desired to have open weekend availability on Friday and Saturday. Fridays and Saturdays have the highest demand for excellent store operations and require additional support on a regular basis. A prime candidate should have open availability for at least one weekend day, however open availability for both weekend days are highly preferred.As this is an entry level position, previous work experience is not required, but it is preferred. A qualified candidate must be 16 years of age or older. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. This requirement does not apply if you are under the age of 18. However, you must be currently enrolled in high school and be able to obtain a valid work permit if you are under the age of 18 to qualify. MISSION: Maintain a laser focus on the guest. Create a remarkable experience for every guest every time. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Take orders Expedite/bag Deliver meals to guests Assist guests needs Maintain a sparkling clean dining room with a welcoming atmosphere. Monitor and clean the playground, restrooms, outdoor patio, and parking lot. Share and answer questions about the Chick-fil-A brand, food products, CFA One app, catering, and current marketing campaign Collaborate with team members and fulfill our mission: Excellence Every Day & Care for Everyone Achieve annual and 90-Day Sprint FOH Performance Goals EXPECTATIONS: 1. Provide Remarkable Service Provide a professional and friendly guest interaction including Core 4, 2nd mile service and use the language of hospitality throughout a guests experience Expedite/bag orders accurately and expeditiously ensuring seamless communication between FOH, BOH, and delivery Effectively take orders and help answer guest questions throughout a transaction Ensure accuracy of orders including proper food and condiments Communicate effectively with the kitchen and to the customer about wait times Follow procedures for confirming correct orders and ensuring the guest has all they need to enjoy their meal during table delivery 2. Maintain a Sparkling Clean and Safe Environment Ensure a clean and inviting dining room environment which includes tables, chairs, flowers, marketing materials, condiment bars, floors, floorboards, walls, windows and ceiling Ensure a clean and inviting restroom environment which includes sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors, walls, windows, and paper supplies Ensure a clean and inviting playground environment which includes slides, shoe cubbies, floors, floorboards, walls, windows and ceiling Ensure a clean and inviting parking lot environment which includes patio tables & chairs, umbrellas, floors, parking lot asphalt and landscape beds 3. COMPENSATION: Hired applicants can expect to make between $13.25 - $15.00, per hour Pay rate will be based on availability and experience. Hours will be given based on performance.
