RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Santa Ana, CA that is seek a Remote Senior Underwriter. Summary: As an Underwriter you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the daily workflow of your files and be an expert on agency loan guidelines internal underwriting procedures. The Underwriter must have a sound understanding of loans regarding credit worthiness of borrowers while working closely with originators and operations staff.Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:* 2+ years of strong Understanding of Front Line 1st mortgage loan conforming* 2+ years of Empower, AUS, LP, and DU experience * Sound knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC* Able to handle an average of 4-6 loans daily* Able to analyze risk appropriately by assessing property information including: purchase contract, escrow instructions, and preliminary title reports* (Preferred) FHA DE or SAR Certification (higher pay for individuals with certifications)Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
