What we are looking for: TechMD is looking for a smart, capable, and all-around enjoyable IT Systems Specialist II - Proactive Services.
Position Summary: Leverage advanced IT knowledge to improve TechMD service delivery, including discovery, documentation, and implementation of best practices of new and existing customers.
Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities: - Travel to customer locations to discover, audit, document, install, troubleshoot hardware and software. - Advanced IT support relating to:o Microsoft's core cloud, business applications, and operating systemso Networking including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and securityo Servers, SAN/NAS, workstations, printers, and vendor-specific hardware and software - Professional verbal and written communication with internal and external customers. Must be able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users at all levels within the organization. - Train and mentor IT Support Specialists I and assist them with their work. - Other duties may be added as defined.


- 3 years of MSP or related experience delivering support at client sites and remotely - Preferably, one or more of the following: A+, Network+, Security+, MSCA, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Computer science or similarly related field - Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities - Able to plan, schedule, and effectively communicate with staff and clients - Must have a customer service-oriented attitude - Must be detail-oriented - Must have strong interpersonal communication and team-based skills - Must have strong documentation skills - Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills - Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, software, and equipment - Being a self-starter as well as a problem-solver
