What we are looking for:
TechMD () is looking for smart, capable, and all-around enjoyable IT Support Specialist (Field) to help support our growing Orange County office. We are looking for someone who loves to work independently, meet new people, and work with different organizations every day. If you're looking to get away from an office desk and want to learn how to better help people solve tough problems, then this position is for you.

What you will be doing on a daily basis:
- Troubleshooting PC/MAC issues
- Troubleshooting general network infrastructure problems, including networking equipment, printers, PC/Server hardware, etc
- Working with 2nd and 3rd level support on server-related problems
- Troubleshooting server hardware issues at our clients' sites
- Visiting client sites to work on things that cannot be handled remotely
- Learning about and applying proven and emerging technologies (Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, VMware, Cisco networking, Office 365, etc.)

Preferred knowledge:
- Cisco and SonicWALL Firewall/Routers (CCNA/CSSA)
- Managed Switches
- Server racks Installation and management
- APC units Installation and configuration
- Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills of Microsoft Windows 7,8, and 10 and Mac operating systems
- A+ or Mac/Windows certifications (ACTC, MSCA Server or Desktop)

- You're energetic and take pride in your appearance. You are the face of the company, and your appearance and passion with clients reflects on who we are. You'll be in front of people all day, so you need to have the stamina to keep it up.
- You're a great communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- You're flexible with your schedule. You don't mind waking up early to go home early, or sleeping in to work after hours.
- You're highly resourceful, able to deal with unique situations using the tools available to you.
- You are extremely passionate about technology. If your idea of a good time is installing a new PC/Server hardware on a Friday night, then you're a perfect fit for us.
- Some demonstrable experience w/technology and no, playing Smash Brothers doesn't count (although those skills may come in handy during our daily team building extended lunch activities)
- You're a fast learner with an advanced ability to absorb and retain knowledge of new technologies.
- You take pride in your work! You always take responsibility for your mistakes and look at them as a learning opportunity.
- You're always on time, and sometimes (almost always) early because you're just cool like that.

Location: Santa Ana (South Coast Metro), CA.
- This is a full time job (Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.)
- Compensation: $22-$25 an hour, plus benefits for full time employees
- You must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license
