Databricks Application Administrator (Remote)We have an immediate need for a Databricks Application Administrator to join the nation's largest independent tire and wheel retailer. Under general supervision, the Databricks Application Administrator deploys, supports, and administers the Databricks application in the cloud.Location: RemoteThis Job Pays: $80 - 91 per hourWhat You Will Do:

• Perform Application Administration for Databricks in the cloud according to best practices
• Assist employees by answering questions related to Databricks
• Support the planning of Databricks deployment
• Advise on architecture and scaling for Databricks environments
• Collect user requirements and set up data storage, notebooks, and compute to fulfill business use case
• Serve as a point of contact for technical issues in the environment
• Monitor usage, report on cost management, and participate in cost planning
• Ensure updates, status and completion information is communicated to stakeholders accurately and timelyWhat Gets You The Job:
  • This position requires an associate degree in Computer Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • This position requires a minimum of three years' experience data administration experience, from setting up the Databricks environment to successfully administering it
  • Experience as the Databricks account owner, managing workspaces, audit logs, and high-level usage monitoring
  • Experience managing cluster and jobs configuration options
  • Coding skills in SQL and Python (PySpark) with experience optimizing code
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Retail (IT) experience preferred.
