Senior Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Sr. Trade Compliance Specialist (US International).
Key Responsibilities

Classify merchandise using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and stay updated on import regulations
Conduct audits utilizing ACE systems and manage compliance activities related to CTPAT
Provide guidance on regulatory processes and collaborate with testing labs for product compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years related experience in trade compliance
Working knowledge of 19 CFR US customs regulations and HTSUS
Technical knowledge of various product types and consumer protection regulations
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality on corporate matters
