Job Description:
A company is looking for a System Design Engineer (Gas) for an
advanced nuclear reactor project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of gas and fluid systems from
conceptual requirements through final design and commissioning
Conduct technical trade studies and oversee supplier activities
related to gas processing and monitoring equipment
Prepare and review technical specifications, manage design
packages, and support system testing and qualification programs
Qualifications & Experience
B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering, or related field
from an accredited university
5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical or gas system
design
Strong experience with piping systems and P&ID development
In-depth understanding of applicable design codes (ASME BPVC, API,
etc.)
Knowledge of piping analysis and nuclear quality assurance
standards (e.g., ASME NQA-1, AS9100, ISO 9001)
