Position is located in Los Angeles.

An Estimator will support various program and project level tasks, as described below:

• Responsible for the preparation of cost estimates for TI and deferred maintenance projects for various County Departments and to support the Facilities Reinvestment Program. Estimates will be created based on requested scope of work, drawings, and field evaluation (where necessary).
• Reviews and evaluates contractor proposals for base work orders and change order requests. The main project delivery method is through Job Order Contracting (JOC) program. Selected projects are executed under master agreements with lump sum proposals.
• Work proactively with the Project Managers to ensure RFPs include a complete detailed scope of work.
• Work proactively with Project Managers and contractor to resolve any proposal issues.

  Qualifications:
  
  
• 10+ years' experience as construction estimator.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• JOC program experience is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, decision making capabilities, problem resolution skills.
