Position Description: Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Production Assembler to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. In this role, you will be integral in producing high-quality Skylights and Special Products by assembling components and subassemblies. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining our company's high standards of safety and quality, while also achieving throughput targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare for assembly tasks by reviewing instructions, drawings, and parts lists, and organizing necessary tools and materials.
  
• Ensure all components, subassemblies, and final products meet design specifications and quality standards.
  
• Utilize templates and measurements to position parts and subassemblies accurately.
  
• Assemble subassemblies and final products while adhering to detailed instructions and procedures.
  
• Conduct continuous inspections to guarantee quality compliance.
  
• Report any defects or errors to the production supervisor and halt production if necessary to correct issues.
  
• Cross-train in various assembly functions and rotate through tasks as required.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  
• Comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
  
• Manage tool and equipment maintenance, including preventive measures and troubleshooting.
  
• Keep inventory of supplies, anticipating needs and verifying receipt.
  Qualifications & Skills:
  
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
    
  • 1-2 years of experience in assembly, with a focus on component, subassembly, and final assembly.
    
  • Strong attention to detail.
    
  • Proficient with manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools.
    
  • Ability to read and utilize measuring devices.
    
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
    
  • Good eyesight, hand-eye coordination, and ability to differentiate details in shapes, sizes, and colors.
    
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift (up to 20 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally).

    • 5:00am - 1:30pm
