Job Description:

We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Development Representative(s) to deliver qualified sales opportunities to our SureCo Account Executive team. Under direction of the Team Development Leader, you will own the initial contact with several prospective new individual & family healthcare market members to drive interest and help SureCo acquire new customers. You will possess a natural orientation towards sales and love connecting with people. You will consistently demonstrate an ability to hit your goals. This role is directly involved in generating demand for products and services that SureCo offers (or contracts with) in the marketplace, and you will own the first conversations. Once your probational period is over you will transition over to Sales and become an Account Executive. You will join a great Acquisition Sales team where you will continue your training and become a healthcare expert! Each day will be a rewarding responsibility to help individuals, families and businesses find the right healthcare for their needs.Within the first 3 months it is expected that SDRs will:

  • Become experts on SureCo product offering, as well as high-tech tools to be successful (Telephony solutions, Microsoft Office suite, Dynamics 365 CRM, Web Chat functionality, and sales engagement tools)
  • Leverage opportunities to learn the market and business
  • Deliver qualified sales opportunities to the Account Executive team
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed goals and bonusBy approximately 4-12 months it is expected that the SDRs will:
    • Transition into Sales as an Account Executive
    • Be a champion for change in our complex healthcare system and passionate about creating a more people-focused healthcare
    • Answer incoming warm leads and get deals to the finish line
    • Close sales marketing-generated opportunities via phone, text, and email
    • Take live inbound transfers by answering phone calls promptly in a polite and professional manner
    • Conduct outbound calls for provided from our warm leads database
    • Engage and utilize a consultative sales approach to best explain various health care and insurance programs and services
    • Actively listen during conversations to understand our customers' needs, then provide a solution to help
    • Provide world-class customer service and maintain positive relations with new and existing clientele
    • Go the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
    • Manage your sales leads, calendar, and time to efficiently meet monthly sales goals
    • Build a residual book of business by growing and maintaining an ongoing client base
    • Strive consistently to gain sales skills, stay current on the industry, product knowledge and competitive marketplace

      • Contact leads via phone, auto-dialer, email, and/or web chat to qualify prospects and promote SureCo product offerings and services.
      • Answer inbound direct calls from prospective new members to pre-qualify and provide opportunities for the Account Executive team.
      • Work with team members to meet conversion, acquisition, and revenue goals
      • Maintain detailed records of outgoing and ingoing calls as well as follow up information and outcomes
      • Meet or exceed projected weekly and monthly performance targets
      • Intercept and respond to customer complaints or concerns with products and seek to resolve the problem while adhering to company policy
      • Accurately document the customer's personal information including phone number, address and other order information
      • Persuasively engage the customer in conversation to explain how SureCo products and/or services will add value to their lives and meet their needs
      • Ask relevant leading questions to understand the customer's needs
      • Follow prepared scripts to provide accurate and compliant information
      • Contribute to overall team success - relay any information that may be of value to the team such as best practices, market sentiment, competitive pressures, etc.Requirements
        • 1-3 years minimum experience in a customer service, sales or sales development role
        • Direct and recent experience with CRM and Sales Enablement platforms
        • Strong technical aptitude
        • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
        • Creativity, curiosity, and desire to find the third alternative when faced with a challenge
        • Strong organizational skills
        • Desire to make an impact at a disruptive technology company
        • Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills

        • Able to accept constructive criticism and continually improve sales techniques
        • Experience in a position where meeting sales goals was important indication of performance
