SummaryThe Sales Executive is a sales leadership position in the company that has been created to originate and manage larger repair and maintenance paving jobs. The Sales Executive is a seasoned performer with proven sales skills and experience. Developing relationships with the relevant local and headquarters management in client organizations is a requirement for success. The size of each transaction is expected to be large, so experience in handling large deals is a must. Depending on the targets given, the company is willing to assign an Associate Estimator to be teamed with the Sales Executive to achieve higher-end goals.TargetsThe Sales Executive has seasonalized monthly, quarterly and annual targets for orders, revenue and gross profit. Annual revenue targets are in the range of $3M to $5M with associated annual gross profit targets ranging from $1M to $1.5M.CompensationThe company has two separate compensation plans -commission or salary, which can be discussed during the interview process.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans for each Class A and targeted account
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly and annual plans to achieve sales (order and revenue) and gross margin targets
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with accounts and understanding their needs
  • Present sales (order and revenue) and gross profit forecasts to the management team on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Identify market shifts occurring within the industry while being fully aware of competition status
  • If appropriate, to hire, train and develop an Associate Estimator to assist with achieving and exceeding assigned targets---Requirements
    • Project execution attention to detail
    • Deep understanding of the asphalt paving business
    • Strong business sense and industry expertise
    • Successful experience as a sales representative, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence, credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
    • Committed to continuous self-development and education through workshops, seminars and conferences
    • Developed client base is a plus
    • 5+ years paving industry experience
