Job Description:
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice, a leader in home-based
end-of-life care, is seeking a compassionate, skilled Part-time
Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will
provide dignified and peaceful euthanasia services in the comfort
of our clients' homes, helping to ensure that pets' final moments
are filled with respect and love. Our mission focuses on both pet
and owner comfort, making this position ideal for those who seek to
make a meaningful difference in the veterinary field. Conduct
in-home euthanasia visits, providing compassionate care and support
to pets and their families. Communicate effectively with pet
owners, offering emotional support and guidance during difficult
decisions. Maintain thorough patient records and comply with all
regulatory veterinary health requirements. Collaborate with a team
of hospice care professionals, including veterinary technicians and
customer support staff. Participate in ongoing education and team
meetings to ensure best practices in veterinary hospice care. High
proficiency in small animal euthanasia techniques Strong empathy
and communication skills Ability to handle emotional situations
with professionalism and care Experience in pain management and
palliative care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid U.S. veterinary license Certification in
Euthanasia by Injection recommended
